Dear players!

June 9th marks the release of an update for the Public Test Server. This update includes balance changes of several ships and various bug fixes, especially in the Cherry Blossom operation.

Changes:

Researchable PanAsian destroyers

  • increased reload time for Smoke Generator from 120 sec to 150 sec (80 sec to 100 sec for premium equipment)

Japanese cruiser Zao

  • Type F3 torpedos reloading time reduced from 141 sec to 117 sec
  • Added an alternate researchable torpedo launcher module: Type 93 mod.3 (similar to Shimakaze's). The stats for the module are following:
    • Max. damage: 23767
    • Range: 12 km
    • Velocity: 67 kts
    • Reload time: 164 s
    • Detectability from ships: 1.7 km

American destroyer Gearing

  • Added a base Mk16 mod.1 torpedo launcher module (similar to Fletcher's) with folowing stats:
    • Max. damage: 19033
    • Range: 10.5 km
    • Velocity: 66 kts
    • Reload time: 106 s
    • Detectability from ships: 1.4 km

Soviet destroyer Grozovoi 

  • Surveillance Radar is added to the 4th consumable slot.
    • Detection of ships: 7.5 km
    • Active time: 20 s
    • Cooldown: 180 s (120 s for premium equipment)
    • Charges: 2 (3 for premium equipment)

German cruiser Hindenburg

  • Increased main batteries' reloading time from 10 sec to 11 sec

German cruiser Roon

  • Increased main batteries' reloading time from 10 sec to 11 sec

Cherry Blossom operation fixes

  • Fixed an issue with awards for successfully finishing "Cherry Blossom" not being properly invoiced to the player.
  • Fixed an issue that led to the fact that allied transport ships and ground objects in operations could be destroyed after successful completion of tasks for their preservation.
  • Visual repair indicator added when aircraft carrier can restore HP.
  • Fixed an issue with flash bombs reflection on the water disappearing when moving camera further away.

Other fixes and improvements

  • Clan battles are now restricted to max 3 player per each team.
  • Fixed an issue with incorrect coal bag display when opening containers.
  • Fixed an issue where an alternative color scheme of camouflage coloring did not work on the C hull of the Benson ship.
  • The number of hit points that can be restored with repair crew now correctly changes when using the "Survivability Expert" skill.

Public Test Round 2 Schedule

Commanders! The second round of 0.7.6 Public test is extended until June 19th 15:00 CEST.

Please note that in Session 2, the following changes were made for Soviet destroyer Grozovoi: the Engine Boost consumable was moved from slot 3 to slot 5, while in slot 4 the Surveillance Radar was replaced with the Repair Party.

We apologize for the mistake. Grozovoi will not receive Repair Party in place of Surveillance Radar on the public test, this change will be implemented in the update 0.7.6.

Cherry Blossom operation fixes

  • Corrected the error because of which there was no sound of the telegraph bell in the Cherry Blossom operation
  • Some balance corrections were made in the Cherry Blossom operation—now the operation is easier to complete

Other fixes and improvements

  • The amount of HP recovered when the Repair Party consumable is used and the player has the Survivability Expert skill has been corrected.
  • Corrected the error leading to the cursor turning on after a message is sent in the chat
  • Corrected the error because of which the Commander with the Radio Location skill couldn't enable the Priority Target skill

Combat Missions and Rewards

You will be able to complete the two combat missions presented below once again during Round 2 of the Public Test even if you completed them during Round 1.

Play one Random or Co-op Battle.

Reward on the live server: three of each signal flag of each type (except for special signals).

Play three Random or Co-op Battles.

Reward on the live server: ten "Type 6" camouflage patterns.

You can complete the following three combat missions only once during both Rounds of the Public Test. The progress you earned during Round 1 will be transferred into Round 2.

Gain a victory in operation "Cherry Blossom".

Reward on the live server: one day of Premium time.

Play three Clan Battles.

Reward on the live server: five of each signal flag of each type.

Play 1 Random, Co-op, or Clan Battle with a Tier X ship.

Reward on the live server: three of each signal flag of each type.

Please note that only players with a Public Test account registered to the same email address as their live server account will be able to redeem their rewards. If your Public Test account is registered to an email address different from your live server account email address, make sure you register a new Public Test account using your live server account email address.

The rewards will be added to your live account witin five days after the Update’s release.

What resources will you get on the Public Test server?

  • All researchable Tier VIII ships with 15 Skill point Commanders will be credited to all players at the start of the test.
  • Research prices for Tier IX ships and their modules will be discounted so that players can easily reach them after playing just a couple of battles.
  • Tier X ships will be unavailable for researching, but players will be able to purchase them in the Arsenal.
  • Players receive Account Level 15 when they first log in.
  • Premium Account will be given to all players when they first log in.
  • 500,000,000 credits, 30,000 doubloons, and a large set of flag signals of all types (except for special signals) will be added to your account.
  • Players will be able to reset the Commander skills at the cost of 1 doubloon for 1 skill point.

Please note that the resources and progress from previous Public Tests will be wiped.

How do I access the Public test?

If you participated in the previous Public Test, just update the client (~400 MB) and use your existing Public Test account.

If you want to join the Public Test for the first time, download the client (~17 GB) and register your account on the Public Test portal. You will find step-by-step registration instructions here. You can also authorize your Steam or Windows Store account in order to create a Public Test account so that you can receive your rewards for testing the game.

Please note the following: Player Support does not accept complaints about violations committed on the Public Test server.


Wargaming.net Game Center

The Public Test is now available in the Wargaming.net Game Center! And you don't need to install a separate game client or reinstall the current live version of World of Warships. After importing the Public Test client into the Game Center, you can download most of each update in advance, and then install the update on your PC when the Public Test releases. This will significantly reduce the time between the launch of the update process and logging into the game.

If you already have the Public Test client installed on your PC, you can import it into the Game Center:

  1. Open the Game Center and go to the "ALL GAMES" tab.
  2. Click the "Import Installed Games" button.
  3. Follow the prompts on the next screen to select the games you want to import into the Game Center.
  4. Go to the World of Warships tab, then select "World of Warships PT" in the drop-down list of the "Game Instance" field, and click the "Play" button.

If you don't have the Public Test installed on your PC, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the "ALL GAMES" tab.
  2. Click the "Install Game by ID" button and enter the following code: V09XUy5QVC5QUk9EVUNUSU9OQGh0dHA6Ly93Z3VzLXdvd3NwdC53b3JsZG9md2Fyc2hpcHMucnUv
  3. Enter the required parameters (installation folder, client type etc.) on the screen that appears to proceed to the game installation.
  4. Go to the World of Warships tab, then select "World of Warships PT" in the drop-down list of the "Game Instance" field, and click the "Play" button.

After you import the games into the Game Center, you will not be able to launch them via the start panel.
