The coming Update will provide you with a whole bunch of opportunities to earn valuable and useful in-game items—credits; signals; camouflages; the unique French Commander, Philippe Auboyneau; and Premium Tier VI–VIII ships.

Fruits of Research
Some great in-game bonuses and discounts await you in honor of the launch of the Research Bureau. Even if you don't plan to complement your fleet with the new Tier X ships, you might want to turn your eyes towards the free signals and additional XP for all your ships.

Discounts and bonuses
- +100% XP bonus for the first win of the day
- −50% to the cost of Port slots in doubloons
- −50% to the cost of upgrades in credits
- −25% to the cost of permanent camouflage patterns for Tier VIII and IX ships
Spin-offs
Earn from 500 to 1,000 XP on ships of the same tier and type.
Reward: from 1–4 economic or special signals, depending on the ship’s type and tier
Ship restrictions: Tier VI–IX ships
Battle type restrictions: Operations, Random, Ranked, and Co-op Battles
You can complete this challenge 10 times for each ship tier and type.
Daily Shipments with French Destroyers
You’ll receive camouflage patterns, credits, doubloons, Premium Account time, and new Legion of Honor containers simply for logging in to the game. You can get a total of 10 rewards, while Daily Shipments with French Destroyers are available for 14 days. Thus, you can skip four days out of two weeks and still claim all the valuable rewards, one per day.
New Directives
The new "French Destroyers: Part 2" game event tasks you with 44 missions across four Directives. A new Directive will open each week, and you can start progressing in the next Directive only once you've completed six missions from the previous one.
Progressing smoothly in Update 0.8.7 and having completed six missions in each of the first two Directives, players will be able to obtain up to 630 French Tokens, which is equivalent to one of the following rewards in the Armory:
- 3 days of Warships Premium Account
- 2,700,000 credits
- Up to 110 signals
- 31x expendable French Riviera camouflage patterns
- 250 doubloons
Those players who complete all the missions of the Directives will receive 1,610 Tokens, which can be exchanged for one of the following rewards in the Armory:
- 8 days of Warships Premium Account
- 1,000 doubloons
- 7,200,000 credits
- Up to 280 signals
- 80x expendable French Riviera camouflage patterns
The strongest players who manage to complete all four Directives and enter the Hall of Fame will be able to obtain the main reward of this Update—a new unique Commander, Philippe Auboyneau—for 2,100 French Tokens.

Day of Glory
The day of glory has arrived for French destroyers 
IX Mogador and 
VIII Le Terrible! Fight with these ships, earn XP, and claim your reward of French Tokens. You can exchange these Tokens in the Armory for numerous valuable rewards!

Earn 15,000 XP in battles.gamescom 2019
A chain of combat missions dedicated to the largest gaming industry event in Europe—gamescom 2019 in Cologne—continues. You still have time to complete all the tasks!
Please note: this combat mission is only available for those players who clicked the "Take part" button on our website.
Earn 1,089,984 credits in battles.
Reward: 3x gamescom Blue camos
Ship restrictions: Tier V–X German ships
Battle type restrictions: Random, Ranked, and Co-op Battles
You can complete this combat mission only once.
The combat missions of the chain can be completed only in the specified sequence: you can start the next Stage only after all the tasks of the previous Stage have been completed.
Daily Challenges
Want even more bonuses? We've got daily challenges for you—simply complete daily combat chains. Get economic signals for completing three chains, combat signals for completing nine chains, and special signals for completing twenty chains.
Completing either an easy or a normal challenge will reward you with one Legion of Honor container; a hard challenge will reward you with two containers.
Please note: September daily challenges and rewards for their completion will be available throughout the whole month, including for some time after the release of Update 0.8.8.
Daily Missions
The conditions for completing the chains are:
- Each day you'll be able to play through two chains, each comprising three missions.
- Earn a set amount of base XP to progress through the chains.
- For chain 1: you need to earn 250; 500; and 1,000 base XP, respectively. It's required that you earn 1,000 base XP in victorious battles for the last part of the chain. For chain 2: you need to earn 1,100; 1,200; and 1,300 base XP in victorious battles, respectively.
- All missions within a chain must be completed in successive order with Tier V–X ships in Operations, Random, Ranked, or Co-op Battles, once per day.
- You can only start chain 2 once you’ve completed chain 1.
- You’ll receive your rewards in the Port after each mission goal is achieved.
- Once all the chains have been completed you’ll earn an additional 200 Coal.
